Entitled Golden Girl Of The South West, this 28 foot tall
sculpture is a tribute to the Olympic success of team GB and is sited
on a hill in Cornwall on the Polperro Looe road on land that belongs to
the 5 star B+B Trenderway Farm. The sculpture includes a pair of rowing oars to acknowledge the success of rower Helen Glover, the first person to win an Olympic 2012 gold medal and who is Cornish. |
